Expected Learning Outcomes

The teaching activity, divided into a theoretical part and an exercise part, aims to make students aware of the complexity el territory and landscape, the evolution of critical thinking concerning them and the ways of intervention through the tools of planning in connection with those of programming. Within this general objective, students/students will have to mature in particular the ability to prefigure, evaluate and manage the physical transformations of places from the existing territorial relationships.

During the workshop, exercises will be organized with the aim of applying what was presented during the lectures.

The final exercise aims to test what has been learned to specific case studies that will cover parts of the Sicilian territory.

Course Structure

The course will be developed through ex cathedra lectures, meetings with academic and non-academic personalities, seminars, workshops and with the laboratory activity carried out in the classroom

Required Prerequisites
